Terms of use

StellarAnvil is a browser game offered by DeeSighn / DSCloud9, Arnhem, the Netherlands (“we”; details on the Contact page). By creating an account you accept these terms. Questions: support@stellaranvil.eu.

1. A game in beta

StellarAnvil is still being built. The game world may be reset, the balance will change, and features may come and go. There is no right to keep your progress. Premium time you bought is not lost in a reset. We do our best to keep the game running, but we cannot promise that it is always available.

2. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• One account per person. Accounts that are played together or by the same person (for example to pass resources between them) may be limited or removed.
• Your account is personal: do not share it, lend it, sell it or buy someone else’s.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
• Use an email address that is yours and that lasts: throwaway addresses are refused.

3. Inactive accounts

A free account that was in the game on fewer than 2 different days is removed 7 days after its last visit. Its planets become free again and its ships go to the Corsairs. Come back on a second day and this no longer applies.

4. Fair play

Not allowed:

• bots, scripts or other automation that plays for you or sends requests to the game;
• using a bug to your advantage. Found one? Report it to us instead;
• harassment, threats, hate speech, spam or sexual content in messages, guild chat, names or profiles, and posing as staff;
• attacking, overloading or trying to break into the game or its servers;
• the account rules above: several accounts per person, or sharing or trading accounts.

5. Measures

If you break these terms we can give a warning, block your account for a while, or remove it. How far we go depends on how serious it is, so a measure can skip a step. We can also remove texts you wrote and undo what you gained by cheating. Do you disagree with a measure? Mail support@stellaranvil.eu and we will look at it again.

6. Premium

• What you buy. Premium for the period you choose (1, 3, 6 or 12 months), with the features listed on the Premium page, plus the one‑off income bonus shown there. Premium gives no advantage in battle. We may adjust single features; if we take away a substantial part of premium during a period you paid for, you may ask for a refund of the remaining time.
• Price. The price shown when you buy, including 21% Dutch VAT. It is a one‑off payment: no subscription, nothing renews by itself. Buying again adds the new period to the time you have left.
• Payment. Through our payment provider Mollie. You receive a receipt by email.
• Start and right of withdrawal. As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Premium is digital content that starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. When you buy, you ask us to start at once and confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once premium has started. Without that confirmation you cannot buy.
• Refunds. We refund you if you paid but did not get premium, if you were charged twice, if we take away a substantial part of premium (see above), or if we stop the game while you still have premium time (the remaining time, pro rata). If we remove your account under section 5, you get no refund, unless the law says otherwise. If a payment is reversed (for example a chargeback), the premium time it bought ends.
• Age. Premium is for players of 16 or older, or younger with a parent’s or guardian’s consent.

7. What you write

Names, profiles, messages and guild posts are yours, and you are responsible for them. You allow us to show them in the game to the players they are meant for. We can remove anything that breaks these terms.

8. Leaving

You can delete your account at any time on the Account page. We can end your account under section 5, and we can end the beta or the game; if we end the game we will say so in the game first.

9. Liability

The game is offered free of charge and as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss of progress, resources or ships, for example after a reset, a bug or an outage. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you visit. If you do not want to, you can delete your account.

11. Law

Dutch law applies. A dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you as a consumer the right to go to a court where you live.
